Derek Tarr - Directory of Teaching Programs at BHRC

Derek was ranked as high as 75 on the ATP Professional Tennis Circuit in his eight years on the ATP tour and has played against many great players of his time.  He has been teaching at BHRC for 16 years as head teaching pro.

Derek runs the Brook Highland Academy for advanced junior players at BHRC.
He is also UAB's Head Men's Tennis Coach.

Charlie Badger

Charlie has been coaching tennis players for 35 years and is certified by the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA).  He has taught nationally, sectionally, and state-ranked players. Charlie has been a USPTA Head Teaching Professional at BHRC for 4 years.

Allison Romano

Allison has been teaching tennis for 23 years as a USPTA Teaching Professional and has been at BHRC for 6 years  She conducts many Ladies clinics, and the Aces and Heavy Hitters Program as well as Teen and Jr. Team Clinic for young tennis players.
